Personal Change Work

 

One to One work: It is true to say that the boundaries betweeen coaching and therapy are not always as clear cut as some would like them to be. For clarity though I do make a distinction.  Despite my background in mental health and therapeutic practice I describe my work at ths time as that of a leadership coach or even better, a guide; that is to say one who accompanies you on a journey from where you are right now to where you want to be. I will ask the questions, pose the challenges, tell the stories and help to tweak your perspective in a way that enables you to get to where you want to be. 

Before taking on clients there will be an initial assessment and if it seems that therapy is a more appropriate route then an alternative practioner should be sought.

If we do undertake a journey together I offer a series of one to one sessions ( face to face or online)  which will identify at the outset a ballpark of how often we might need to meet in order to get to achieve the outcomes. This work together is never intended as ongoing; there is always an end point and anyway, if I have done my job properly you will be well equipped by the end to undertake future journeys drawing on the skills you have gathered in our work together.The whole idea is to make you the leader of your own personal journey.

In this work you will explore and develop your uniqueness, your value and sense of purpose; we will explore the blocks that tend to stand in the way of you achieving your outcomes and the keys to transformng your world from the inside out.

Retreats: These are offered to those who want to work quietly and contemplatively to discover some of the deeper dimensions of themselves and the treasures that are contained there. Retreats are typically for a small groups and usually in the form of an away day or days. Having said that, covid taught us that these do work as online sessions and many benefitted from these during lockdown.  If you are interested in exploring a retreat with me please get in touch here with your contact details. 

 

Workshops: Personal leadership courses are extremely popular and again have transitioned well from face to face to online sessions.  These usually take the form of a weekly, evening sessions across a period of 6 weeks. In the introductory course we explore the basics of personal leadership for the purpose of getting from where you are to where you want to be. The introductory course focuses on.
